Hays High School has been Locked down due to a report of a suspicious backpack in a classroom. Law enforcement is present. After an investigation, Law enforcement has determined that there is no threat to students, staff and faculty. Students will be dismissed from school at the regular time of 3:05. The school safety plan was successfully followed. Law enforcement is confident in saying there was no danger to the school and has been determined to be a "swatting" incident.
